For most of my life, football was everything to me.
I spent years training, practicing, and working toward one goal: playing college football. It was something I had dreamed about since I was a kid, and I genuinely believed it was where my future was headed.
But during my sophomore year of high school, everything changed.
I suffered a traumatic brain injury while playing football and had to be rushed to the hospital. Just like that, my football career was over. The dream I had spent most of my life working toward was suddenly gone.
What I didn't know at the time was that losing one dream would lead me to discover another.
The following week, I noticed that my mom had a small Shopify store that wasn't even generating $1,000 a month in sales.
I saw an opportunity to help.
With no real experience in digital marketing, I decided to teach myself Facebook and Instagram advertising.
And it was anything but easy.
I spent years testing campaigns, making mistakes, losing money on ads, studying what worked, and figuring out why certain strategies failed.
Over time, things started to click.
I learned how to structure advertising campaigns, understand customer behavior, improve conversion rates, build better websites, and create marketing systems that could actually grow a business.
Eventually, that small Shopify store became The Shore Line, a seven-figure e-commerce brand, and I've now managed $498,315 in Meta advertising spend.
But along the way, I learned much more than just advertising.
I learned what separates a successful Shopify store from one that struggles. I learned website design, email marketing, customer retention, and how the different parts of an e-commerce business work together.
More recently, I've become deeply involved in artificial intelligence and business automation.
I've been developing systems that use AI to build websites, automate business operations, and connect different tools and agents together. One of the most exciting things I've worked on is creating an AI brain for a company — a system designed to build an evolving understanding of the business, retain useful information, and become more helpful as the company grows.
Today, I'm continuing to build The Shore Line while exploring how AI can change the way businesses operate.
That's why I created Digital Growth with Christian.
I want to share everything I've learned through years of real experience, from Meta advertising and Shopify to website development and AI automation.
Not just what worked, but what didn't, the mistakes I made, and the lessons that helped me get where I am today.
Because sometimes the opportunity that changes your life comes from something you never saw coming.
